HOTAKA

  • Distance: 138 km
  • Start (JST): 04:00
  • For: experienced mountain ultra runners

Entry is via RUNNET. Choose “HOTAKA 138km”.

TONE

  • Distance: 77 km
  • Start (JST): 07:00
  • For: mountain ultra / first-time Japan race

Entry is via RUNNET. Choose “TONE 77km”.

  1. Read the Entry Guide and choose HOTAKA or TONE.
  2. Check eligibility requirements and rules.
  3. Prepare mandatory gear and travel plan early.

3) Travel & access (summary)

Most international runners use one of the routes below.

Route A (recommended)

  • Fly to Tokyo (Haneda / Narita).
  • Tokyo → Takasaki Station.
  • Takasaki → Official race shuttle (reservation required).

Route B

  • Tokyo → Jomo-Kogen Station (Shinkansen).
  • Jomo-Kogen → venue by taxi (approx. 40 min).

Shuttle key rules:
• To the venue (before start): reservation required
• Return after the race: no reservation / pay in cash
